of West Memphis, AR
March 11, 1933 - February 12, 2018
Mary Frances Hudson, 84, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Marion First Baptist Church and was a home maker.
Mary Frances in her earlier years, was a member of the West Memphis Camera Club. She was also a Pink Lady at the Gift Shop at Crittenden Memorial Hospital She really loved that!
She always enjoyed loving on her kids, grandchildren and the great grandchildren.
She always opened the doors of her home to neighborhood kids, when hers were growing up and all the other kids whom she and Sam fell in love with in their later years including Little Sam, Tyler and Haley.
She was so lost and so sad after daddy's death. We were happy when her friend Bob Lanham came into her life one and a half years ago. He put a spark back into her step and eased the pain of daddy being gone. Our hearts are broken but we can celebrate Mamma's entry into heaven. We look forward to seeing her again.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam C. Hudson Jr. her parents Kattie E. and Will Cheek.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Culver (Stanley) of Southaven, MS; a son Clayton Hudson (Jackie) of West Memphis, AR; a sister Bernice Jean Cathell of Branson, MO; four grandchildren, Lawson Culver (Alison), Nicki Etris (Adam), Blake Hudson (Kim) and Tara Quinn (Joseph) and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
