Betty Lou Cooper, age 73, of West Helena passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Little Rock. Mrs. Cooper was born July 19, 1944 in Glenwood, Arkansas to the late James and Dora Cogburn.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Cooper of Glenwood and Joseph Cooper (Anna) of San Diego, California; three daughters, Elizabeth Hensley of Marvell, Robin Cogburn (Dean) of Glenwood and Cynthia Trujillo (Jay) of Mt. Pine; nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cooper; two sisters, Hazel Marie DeMasters of Lodie and Patsy Ann Kesterson (Jon Lee) of Dierks; one brother, Lloyd James Cogburn of Lodie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Cooper; four sisters, Deffie Cogburn, Helen Cogburn, Mary Lou Moore and Ruth Cogburn; one brother, James ''Doogie'' Cogburn; and two sons, James Thomas Cooper and Jesse Leroy Cooper, II.

A graveside service for Betty Cooper will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Bissell Chapel Cemetery in New Hope, Arkansas. Reverend Eric Wehurt will officiate.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Lois and I were so sorry to hear of Betty Lou’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
