Winston Davis, 76, of Bethesda died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in a local hospital.
Born on September 8, 1941, he was the son of Claud and Avis Davis and was retired from Gen Corp and a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church of Bethesda.
Survivors include two brothers, Tom Davis of Dewitt and Joe Davis of Bethesda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lee Roy Davis.
Pallbearers will be Tucker Dowell, Jody Page, Dewayne Lawrence, Trevor Davis, Shawn Davis, and Tim Calloway.
The funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Baxter officiating. Burial will be at Campground Cemetery at Bethesda under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation.

I'm so sorry to hear of Winston’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
