Pastor, praying God’s Peace unto you and Jodie. God is so Good to ‘see us through these times’ and bring us through with a renewed Joy and Hope in Him for our lives. She has definitely run the race, served our Lord with all that she was/is. God bless and keep you all in the ‘shelter of His Wind and by His Power.’
Love you all very much.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to your family. Nena was such a wonderful Christian lady & we know that you will miss her so much. We are thinking of you and praying for you during this time of loss.
So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we get from God.
So sorry to hear of Nena's death. She was a great help to me during the last years of my grandparents lives, Morris and Connie James. I could call her and she would visit with my mamaw for 15 minutes or so and brighten her day, giving her a little moment of connection to a friend, a church, a place that had been their home for over 60 years. May your family have comfort and peace in knowing that, as my grandparents, she will be rewarded for a life well lived, Well done, good and faithful servant.
Brother Doug and Jodie,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Safe travels to you as you make your way to and from Arkansas
Roger, we so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We wanted to express our sympathy to you and your family this verse was encouraging during our time of loss. "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Jesus referred to himself to as "the resurrection and the life" at John 11:25. We pray that in the days to come you will be strengthened.
