Mary Ellouise (Davis) Coker, 83, of Vilonia, AR, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 21, 2017. She was born November 19, 1933, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late James and Carrie (Hutchins) Davis.
Ellouise was a faithful member of the Vilonia United Methodist Church since 1957. She served as a youth director in Children's Ministry. Ellouise devoted her life to the Lord and her family. She was the Faulkner County Deputy Tax Assessor from 1961-1968. In 1968 Ellouise became the Faulkner County Deputy Treasurer, and retired in 1988. Ellouise was a loving wife, mother, and Granny. She will be dearly missed for her loving demeanor and encouraging words.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, husband of 62 years, Jerrell J. Coker, sons, J. Joe Coker, Jr. (Lisa), and Charles R. Coker (Kimberly); 6 grandchildren, Kyle Coker (Stefanie), Michelle McGee (Josh), Jessica Coker (Ramon), Sarah Franco (Chris), Katharine Mullins (Brandon), and Morgan Garcia (Osmar); 14 great-grandchildren, mother in-Law, Inez Coker, brother, Hutchie Weeks, and sister, Edna Beth Traslavina.
Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 with the memorial service immediately following at the United Methodist Church in Vilonia, inurnment at Vilonia Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Vilonia United Methodist Church New Sanctuary Fund.

So sorry for your loss, Mrs Coker was a very special person . She always had a sweet smile and a kind word for you. I have great memories of her all the way back to school field trips that she went on with Joe and our class. She will be greatly missed. You are in our prayers and thoughts.
