Mary Lee Trousdale, 76, of Quitman, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born March 30, 1941 in Hartshorn, MO to the late Bishop Thomas and Elma D. George. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Trousdale.
Mary was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a feisty lady who enjoyed collecting knickknacks. Mary also enjoyed family gatherings, especially preparing meals for her family during the holidays. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Hudgens of Tahlequah, OK, Teresa Guinn and her husband, Ronald of Enola, and Carry Webber of Greenbrier and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All services are private.

I truly enjoyed getting to know Mary in the short time that she was a resident at Renegar Apartments in Quitman. I'm so grateful our paths crossed. May she rest in peace! All the family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you!

My condolences to the family. Mary was missed when she moved to Quitman but I know she wanted to be closer to her family. She was our go getter, never backing away from work or anything. We considered her our Matriarch here. Friendly with everyone! She will be missed in all areas that she joined in: Bingo, Potluck, game day, Coloring therapy and just plain sitting outside on Balcony talking. Love you, Mary and now you can be with Larry again.
