Everett Ray Holtsclaw, age 75, of Sun City, California, originally of Marion County, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Sun City California.
Mr. Holtsclaw was born in Arkansas to the late William Artie and Maudie Lucille (Caviness) Holtsclaw. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting trains. He had been employed by Hostess Bakery for 42 years..
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen Sue Holtsclaw of Sun City, California; his daughter Kristie Mesirow and her husband, Kevin, of Canyon City, California; Connie Eckhardt and her husband, Wolfgang, of California; two grandchildren: Rudy Eckhardt and Vincent Eckhardt; his mother Lucille Dye and her husband, Howard, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; his beloved cat Sam; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father William ''Bill'' Holtsclaw; and his sister, Carolyn Graham
Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leo Dye officiating.
Interment will follow at Keesee Cemetery in Monarch, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Austin Traylor, Tyler Yeargain, Brad Campbell, Erick Bollinger, A.J. McCarville, and Kevin Mesirow.
Lois and I were so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
