Tate Colton Thornton gained his wings Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Willow Creek Women's Health Center, in his parent's arms. He was born March 20, 2018, in Johnson, Arkansas, the son of Jake and Katy Thornton. Tate was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Doyne "Bud" Thornton, Elmer Jones and Red "Poppy" Harp.
Tate is survived by his parents, of the home; his brother, Rayden Thornton and guard dog, Hoss Thornton, all of the home; his grandparents, Jim Morris and Tracy Jones, of Pindall Arkansas, Randy and Tammy Jones, of Western Grove, Arkansas and Mark and Staci Ogier, of Alpena, Arkansas; great-grandparents, Kathrine Jones of Western Grove, Arkansas, Ann Harp of Harrison, Arkansas, Dennis and Reba Rhodes of Harrison, Arkansas and Raymond and Shirley Morris of Pindall, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Nathan and Brittany Harris, Brent and Michelle Morris, Clint Morris, Dusty and Kara Davidson and Cole Newberry; and many cousins, family and friends.
This little Angel touched so many lives and will be deeply missed and loved by all of his family.
Visitation was 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, March 26, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Rogers officiating.
Interment was in Alpena Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Zach Stephens, Justin Aylett, James Holley, Nathan Harris, Clint Morris, Brent Morris, Kenneth Villines, Chase Snow, Nathan Holder, Travis Pree and all his doctors and nursing staff that loved him like he was their own.
So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
