Carolyn Dinsmore of Weiner, passed away Sunday April 2, 2017 at NEA Hospital at the age of 79. She was born October 4, 1937 to Leon and Myrtice Boland Carter. Carolyn worked as a florist and was a member of 1st Christian Church. She was active with the Weiner Rice Festival and loved flowers, reading, cooking and bowling.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Walter Dinsmore; a son, Michael Dinsmore and a brother, Elmo Carter.

Survivors include her son, Robert Dinsmore of Bono; two brothers, Jimmy (Glenda) Carter and Jan Carter; a brother in law, T. Max Dinsmore; a daughter in law, Mindy Dinsmore; and a niece, Karen Carter.

Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner.

Visitation will be 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.

The Weiner First Responders will serve as pallbearers.

Lasting memorials may be made to the Weiner Fire Department.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
