Bobby Jo Carmichael, 88, of Conway, AR, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born July 5, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert and Georgia (Sims) Cook. Bobby Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wendell H. Carmichael, sister, Dorothy Cantrell, and brother, Ralph Cook.

Bobby Jo was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Conway. She was a devoted wife and mother. Bobby Jo enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Joe Carmichael and Doug (Kim) Carmichael; grandson, Hayden Carmichael, and a host of family and friends. The family would like to express special thanks to her friend and caregiver Melissa Hight.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Monday, April 16th at Roller-McNutt with interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Mrs Carmichael will be greatly missed. I have many fond memories of running around in her field, feeding her horse back in the day and visiting with her while my Dad tended to the garden.
