I worked with George many years ago at the Central Soya Research facility in Fort Wayne. He worked with my boss, Imre Balazs and that is how I met him. He was always a very kind, nice gentleman and I remember him fondly. He did a lot of work for the plants and was considered one of the "guys who knew his stuff". I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
Myrtle, I don't know if you remember me. My first husband, Gerald Ritter and I knew you from North Park Community Church. Gerald went to be with the Lord in 2006. From my own personal experiences, I know the Lord has been right there with you giving you comfort and peace.
I am now married to Adrian Dobbins. As soon as I saw George's name in the Fort Wayne obituaries today, I recognized his name and picture.
You are my sister in Christ and I love you! Pat (Ritter) Dobbins
I just read George's obituary in the Ft Wayne paper. I used to work for him at Central Soya as well as working alongside Myrtle. They always struck me as one of God's special couples meant just for each other. God has welcomed a very gentle, Christian man to heaven. Prayers and thoughts be with you all.
So sorry for your loss. Will keep your family in my prayers.
May God/s strength get you through the days ahead.
Heartfelt prayers for strength and peace in the coming days.
I'm so sorry to hear of George’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
