Koleta J. Sanford, age 84, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Mountain Home.
She was born August 25, 1933, in Mountain Home to Adolph E. and Ruby C. Lewis McGuire. In 1957, she married Elvan G. Sanford in Mountain Home. Mrs. Sanford was a member of the Christian Church of Mountain Home and was a homemaker and beautician. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music especially gospel music, gardening and painting.
She is survived by a son: E. Steve (Stacy) Sanford: Mountain Home; four daughters: Teresa K. Warren: Bella Vista, Arkansas; Lesia G. Sanford: Rogers, Arkansas; Debra J. Sanford and Sonia R. Runion: both of Gassville, Arkansas; two brothers: Roy W. (Annis) McGuire: Phoenix, Arizona and Loy D. (Roseanne) McGuire: Glendale, Arizona; a sister: Helen C. Smith: Mountain Home, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Romana (Matt) Rolniak; Brittany (Jeremy) Helms and Brayden Sanford; three great-granddaughters: Juliana and Abigail Rolniak and Berkley Helms; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son; and two brothers: Rex and Verlon McGuire.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday in the Roller Chapel with Gene McCoy, Preacher, officiating. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

I was very sorry to hear of Koleta's passing. I knew her and her family for many years. Very good friends with Rex, both at home and when we were in the Air Force. Also friends with Roy and Loy. I send my heartfelt condolences to Sonia and all the family. With all my sympathy and prayers for comfort at this sad time.
