Norman R. Hamby, 87, died March 27, 2018. He was born in Dawson Springs, KY on August 5, 1930. Norm was predeceased by his wife Lucille of 54 years. He is survived by his four children, Janet Sweimler (Steve) of North Carolina, Peter Hamby of Southaven, MS, Carolyn Shelton (Steve) of Coldwater, MS and Mark Hamby (Audrey) of Bartlett, TN and seven grandchildren, Brian Weigel, Christine Gangwisch, Amber Hamby, Nicholas Shelton, Olivia Hamby, Daniel Shelton and Emma Hamby. Norm was blessed with a good life, a loving wife, great family and many friends. His life was an example of service to others- family, church, youth, country and community. He will be deeply missed by all who've known him. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 11:30am, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett, TN. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Athens, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Ann Catholic Church Scouting Program.
