Julia Pauline Hall ''Judy'' Jackson, 89, of Holly Grove, Arkansas was born February 1, 1928 in Pace, Mississippi, and died January 10, 2018. She grew up in Turner, Arkansas. She married Decatur Burge Jackson in August 1949, and they had four children who they raised on a farm near Holly Grove, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Laban Hall and Winifred Harriet Morton Hall; four brothers; two sisters; and one son, Decatur Burge Jackson Jr. She is survived by her husband, Decatur B. Jackson, Sr.; daughters: Paula Ann Jackson of Marvell, AR, Sue Jackson Todd and husband Don of Bartlett, TN, Harriet Jackson of Holly Grove, AR; four grandchildren: Decatur Burge Jackson III and wife Megan of Benton, AR, Leia Burge Jackson Bowers and husband Will of La Manzanilla, Mexico, Candace Joy Todd of Memphis, TN, Dr. Brandon Lee Todd and wife Dr. Jessica of Memphis, TN; three great grandchildren: Decatur Burge Jackson IV, Macklin Elizabeth Jackson, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was a very active person and enjoyed activities such as: being on a bowling league, working on the farm, hunting, traveling, cross-stitching, and woodworking. She was a member of Turner Baptist Church until her health kept her from attending. She loved God, was devoted to her family, and was always willing to help others.

She will be missed by family and many friends.

A service for Judy Jackson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Turner Baptist Church in Turner. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Valley Grove Cemetery in Holly Grove.
