Chong Lee Yang, 73 of St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on March 29, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 10, 1944 in Xiengkhouang, Laos to his late parents, Xeng Yang and Lig Moua. He was a retired farmer. Chong was a civilian soldier for General Vang Pao from 1960-1965 during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Nan Lee Yang of St. Paul, Minnesota; two brothers, Nou Yang of St. Paul Minnesota and Lue Yang of Laos; four sons, Pao Lee and Vang Yang of Magazine, Arkansas, Tony and Mai Yang of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Jerry and Diana Yang of St. Paul, Minnesota and Leng Yang of St. Paul, Minnesota; seven daughters, Xiong and Cha Vang of Anoka, Minnesota, Houa and Vue Moua of Waldron, Arkansas, Mee and Charlee Thao of Magazine, Arkansas, See and Pheng Vang of Sacramento, California, Nkao Jer Yang and William Mickelson of Madison, Wisconsin, Annie Yang and Xeng Fue Xiong of St. Paul, Minnesota and Stephanie Yang of St. Paul Minnesota; twenty six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Logan County Fairgrounds and conclude on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
