Gerald F. Sprick, 69, a resident of Subiaco passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, in Fort Smith.

He was born May 23, 1948, in Paris to the late Frank and Cecilia T. (Schluterman) Sprick. Gerald was a graduate of Subiaco Academy. After graduating he spent his career working as a Concrete Mason Contractor with his brother, James E. Sprick. Gerald was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco, served in the United States Army National Guard and was a Third Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 145619 in Scranton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Gerry Sprick.

Survivors include a son, Travis Sprick and his wife, Julie of Lavaca; two grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor Sprick, both of Lavaca; a sister, Mary Jane Hall of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four brothers, Frank Joseph Sprick of Fort Smith, James E. Sprick of Subiaco, Ronald A. Sprick of Subiaco and Wallie E. Sprick of Little Rock and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at St. Benedict Catholic Church.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Stengel, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Benedict Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Sprick, Clint Sprick, Steven Hall, Brian Hall, Greg Eckart and Frank J. Sprick, Jr.. Gary Sprick and Danny Schluterman will serve a honorary pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Subiaco Abbey and Academy, 405 North Subiaco, Avenue, Subiaco, AR 72865.
