November 30, 1980 - August 16, 2018
Mark Ryan Bailey, 37, of Conway, Arkansas was freed from the chains of addiction by his Heavenly Father on August 16, 2018.
Mark was born on November 30, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 16 years, Ryan and their daughter Jordan; parents Mickey Bailey and Becky Jackson; a brother Matt Bailey, and many loved ones. He was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Ryan Bailey.
Many knew Mark through the lens of the addictions he battled for years. That wasn't the real Mark though, and those fortunate enough to truly know him, saw him for the loving, caring, generous soul that he was. He was a fiercely devoted father and his children were the love of his life. There was nothing that they ever wanted or needed that he didn't try to provide. His sense of humor was one of a kind! He could make light out of the darkest situations and make everyone feel as if everything would be ok. Mark always tried to be the emotional support to his wife, as they sought to provide the best care for their children despite facing many obstacles.
Every day was a battle to overcome his addiction, that he fought to win. But, the chains that bound him were stronger than anything he could do on his own. He fought this battle for years, and truly sought God's help during the struggle. He knew Jesus Christ as his Savior, and in the end it was He who finally decided Mark struggled enough and brought him home peacefully.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10:00 am with Celebration of Life service immediately following at 11:00 am at First Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mark Bailey to Arkansas Children's Hospital. www.giving.archildrens.org

My sincerest condolences to Ryan, Jordan, and the entire family. I was blessed to meet the Bailey family only a short time ago. Mark was a kind man with obvious love for his family. I enjoyed his sense of humor. This world will not be the same without him being in it. Praying for your peace through this difficult time.
Eternal rest grant unto Mark oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Becky and family,
Don and I are thinking of you at this very sad time, and sending you love and prayers to carry you through the difficult days ahead. Mark will live forever in the hearts of the people who loved him. His chains are gone and he’s been set free, and is in the loving arms of Jesus and Marshall is with him. We wish we weren’t so far away and that we could attend the services. Please know that we are with you in spirit.
Love & Prayers,

Can't recall another co-worker that ever made me laugh like you Mark. You will be missed. Peace and comfort to Ryan and the family..
Love you brother. Your smile will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to Mark's family. His life touched many. I was blessed to work with Marshall, and then Jordan, at Simon Middle School., and that is how I came to know Mark. The description of him in the obituary was the man I knew. His love for his children was unquestionable. He was intelligent and quick witted. His wry sense of humor could catch you off guard and bring a chuckle. My prayers are with the family as they continue to find comfort in knowing he is at peace in the presence of his Father.
I’m sad to hear of this loss to your family.
May God comfort you & grant you peace.
