William Alex White

January 29, 1986 - January 12, 2018

William ''Alex'' White, 31, of North Little Rock, was taken from us way too soon on January 12, 2018. He was born on January 29, 1986, to Errol and Karen Dahlgren White in Little Rock. Alex is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary and William Dahlgren.

Alex absorbed information like a sponge and could converse on any issue. Always up for a debate, Alex was very knowledgeable on many topics. He was very quick-witted with a unique sense of humor. He is known for being able to make light of any situation.

Alex is survived by his parents; sister, Taylor White of North Little Rock; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ethel White; his beloved dog, Brock; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex was a 2004 graduate from North Little Rock High School and then earned his BS Degree in History and Political Science from UALR. He currently worked as a Customer Care Representative with Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Celebration of Life will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Visitation will be one hour prior.

William was a participant in my Blue Cross training class. He was a joy to teach-- always positive, making jokes, ready to listen and learn, and cared about the person at the other end of the phone. Every time I saw him, he came over with a smile and a hug. I will miss him greatly!

My thoughts and prayers go out to William's family and close friends. I had the pleasure of working with him at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield for over a year. He was always up to make someone laugh or share one of his William-isms: "It's a party and everyone's invited." He was the life of the office and will be greatly missed.

White family, I am so sorry for your loss.

While I did not know William personally I did work with him at Blue Cross and passed him in the hallways or often times shared the elevator with him. He was always smiling, always upbeat and had a good sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Respectfully,
Missy

I am saddened to hear about William's passing. I had the pleasure of working with William at Blue Cross, and he was a stand-up customer service rep who took very good care of our members. May the Lord bless his family with peace in this time of observance, and May William rest In peace.

While I only sat on the other side of his desk at BCBS, William always had everyone laughing. He was very bright and high spirited. I can still hear his voice in my head and he has definitely gone too soon. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

William was a very intelligent person. We started at Blue Cross and Blue Shield at the same time and he was fun to have a conversation with. He was very witty with his comebacks and responses. He always said hi and would just talk to whole way out the door to our cars. It never failed you always knew you could get a good conversation at the end of a crazy day with him. He was a great person to have the privilege of knowing and working with. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for the family and friends for healing and comfort.

This world is going to be a much sadder place as without you as you always helped others see the good within themselves. You never turned away from a challenge when it came to helping others and that quality will be truly missed by so many. Your big laugh and the dancing eyebrows always made me laugh as well as others at the perfect time. I want to thank you for being a part of my life, creating memories and laughs.

William...you will be missed. I will miss you saying, "Oh, it's a party and everyone's invited." Now you have went on to join another party. It saddens me that you were called so soon, but your vibrant spirit will last on this side of the party. I am ever so grateful of my TL split conversations with you.

I send my condolence to all the friends and family members.

As a part of his ABCBS family, I can say without a doubt that he was loved by all. He was always making someone smile or laugh. I will miss his sense of humor and hearing his voice across the floor. If we can assist in anyway, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
