Lonnie was a good classmate and a very nice man. Always enjoyed visiting with Lonnie when he attended class reunions. Enjoyed playing baseball with him and Buddy. Lonnie was one tough left handed pitcher. Many fond memories of our time on the diamond. It was more fun when they were on your side. Praying for your family! God Bless You!🙏🏻❤️

I am very saddened to hear of Lonnie's passing. Regrettably I had not seen or been in contact with Lonnie in decades and am very sorry for that fact. However, I have nothing but fond memories of living a good portion of my childhood as a friend of Lonnie's, as well as Buddy and Sister. I recall vividly playing baseball with Lonnie, and hunting and fishing with him, Buddy and their dad, Clyde. It was always an adventure when we all got together to hunt, particularly when Clyde was with us (he seemed to always be up to something mischievous!) Just wonderful times, which I will never forget. I pray that his family will be comforted during what I'm sure is a very sad time. Peace be with you all.
