Mary Lou Vega passed away peacefully on January 18, 2018 at the age of 61. Mary was born October 24, 1956 to parents Samuel and Elida Vega in Wilson, Arkansas. Mary had a glowing personality, infectious smile and loved everyone. She touched many lives. Mary was a lifelong member of Saint Michaels Catholic Church in West Memphis. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan throughout the years and proudly showed it with the clothing she wore.

Mary leaves behind five sisters and seven brothers to cherish her memory. Lilia Mobley of Keiser, Arkansas, Benita Sides of Guys, Tennessee, Beatriz Myers (Doyle) of Lakeland, Tennessee, Elida Kirtley (Billy) of Earle, Arkansas, Olivia Vega of Proctor, Arkansas, Raymond Vega Sr. (Junior) of Russellville, Arkansas, Sam Vega Jr. (Kathy) of Springfield, Missouri, Romeo Vega (Barbara) of Rogersville, Missouri, Felix Vega (Margie) of West Memphis, Arkansas, Jesus Vega (Delphia) of Ozark, Arkansas, Fairley Vega (JoAnn) of West Memphis, Arkansas and Jimmy Don Vega (Carol) of West Plains, Missouri. Mary also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live.
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

So sorry for your loss. I loved Mary and she used to visit with me at City Drug. She was a Special Lady. I pray for Peace from God as you go through this time of sorrow.
