Elna Gaye Bledsoe, 78, of West Memphis passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018.
She was born on March 24, 1939 to parents George B. Hutcherson and Frances A. Young in Enville, Tennessee.
She was a devoted mother who loved her children unconditionally. She left us in comfort, peace and dignity, surrounded by love.
Gaye is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Cagle of Marion; sons Tim Maness of West Memphis, Jimmy Maness of Marion, Danny Maness of West Memphis, and Charles Bledsoe Jr., of Marion; brothers Jeff Hutcherson of Germantown, TN and Dean Hutcherson of Enville, TN.
Gaye is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her loving companion of many years who was always by her side, Charles Bledsoe, Sr.
The family would like to invite friends and loved ones for a celebration of Gaye's life on Saturday, January 20, 2018 to Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR beginning at 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Death is horrific enough but tragedies like this cause loved ones more pain than any family should have to experience. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Please take comfort in knowing that our God never intended humans to experience such pain. How we look forward to His promise at Isaiah 25:8 to swallow up death forever and wipe away tears from all faces. Until that time, may the words of Psalms 147:3 which states, "He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds", assure you of God's love and tender care for you at this time.

Lois and I were so sorry to hear of Elna’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
