A Life Remembered

Clista Alice Betty Davis Lasater was born to Arthur J. and Mary A. Davis on March 8, 1919 in Letona, Arkansas, the second of nine children. She married Dallas Garland Lasater in 1938 and had two sons, Donald Dwight and Danny Ray. She was preceded in death by her husband, 6 siblings and 2 grandchildren. Clista is survived by sister, Shirley and her brother James K. Davis, her sons, Don and Dan, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

After her husband Dallas died in 1976, Clista moved to Garland Texas to be near her sister Norma. She bought a home and had lived there since that time. She was visited by her Sons, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Clista was always active in her Church and attended on a regular basis until it became just too hard on her. She was always a Godly woman and helped anyone that required assistance.

From a humble beginning in life in the cotton fields of Letona Arkansas, Clista has touched everyone that she came in contact with. Her subtle way and strong devotion to God has been an inspiration in her family's lives. She always put family first and was the first to help when her family was in need. Her tireless efforts have been an ongoing inspiration especially to her two sons and their families.

She will be missed by her family and friends through the love she so willingly shared. We have no words to describe the void she left in all our hearts and will see her again in God's holy kingdom.

Graveside Service will be 11:00AM Friday, March 9, 2018 at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Letona.
