Obituary
Virginia Hindman
1924-2018
Virginia Hindman died on January 5, 2018 after suffering injuries from a fall on December 5, 2017.

She was born August 8, 1924 the fifth daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Huffstuttler. Her sisters- Pauline Vaughan, Barbara Oliver Brown, Frankie Houston, Louise Spaulding preceded her in death. Ora Delle Hightower, her youngest sister, remains living in Houston, Texas with her only living brother-in-law, Gene Hightower. All the Huffstuttler sisters were born in Searcy, finished high school at Searcy and were proud of their family heritage and their service to this community and White County.

Her daughter, Freda Volmer from her marriage to Troy Wright and her husband, Dean, live in Pangburn. A second daughter from her marriage to Woody Ramsey, Fern Head, lives in Beebe. She also married Howard Hindman later in life. The husbands preceded her in death.

Her devoted grandchildren, Paul Carson, Grant Carson, Janee Sweeney and Alisa Carlock paid their Granny a visit last week along with the five great-grandchildren- Zac Clemens, Emma Carlock, Jesse Carson, Chris Carson, Buck Carson and Mack Carson. Many nieces, nephews and their families hold this great aunt to always have been an important part of their lifetime memories.

Virginia worked as a waitress at the Rendezvous Restaurant, was Director of White County Senior Citizen Center in Bald Knob and proprietor of the Hen's Den, a women's dress store. She was Past President of White County Medical Center Auxiliary and enjoyed coordinating the Gift Shop at the hospital for several years managing the inventory and volunteer schedules. She took great pride in the donations made to the many important projects which supported the hospital's growth.

In lieu of flowers send donations to the Unity Health Auxiliary or the West Race Baptist Church.
Her charismatic personality and exceptional pride in her family contribute to a life for family and friends to celebrate.
