I just heard the news of Ola Mae’s passing today- the day of her funeral. Thank you to all that took care of her. I have many fond memories of summers and grandma’s house. Walks to the river, her amazing biscuits, wearing dresses with matching bonnets that she made, and molasses popcorn balls. Grandma Ola, may you rest in peace.

My family loved Ola Mae. Always had a sweet smile whenever we stopped by. She made wonderful banana bread and always offered us some. Ola Mae was married to my grandmother's (Evelyn Cockerham) brother.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ola Mae’s passing. 100 years, what a life. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
