Maggie had a strong Christian faith, loved her Red Oak Church where she was a member most of her life. She always said there was no other place like it or could be better than it. Her church family always speaks of her with great respect and admiration.

I will miss Maggie. Every time I drove by her home, I stopped if she was home. My fondest memories were watching all her hummingbirds and listening to her stories of my Dad;s early days. I plan to meet her again in heaven and maybe the hummingbirds are around her there.

We will truely miss our dear sweet Maggie. She was a true example of a Christian lady. I, Betty, wish I could be half the lady she was. Maggie was so meek, loving, caring, & faithful. Although we have been gone from Red Oak for approx 27 yrs, Steve often goes & preaches revevials there. Some of our last services with Sister Maggie, I was battle cancer & taking chemo. She would never fail to ask how I was doing, I'm praying for you, & of course that sweet gentle hug & " I love & miss you!" Today, I have been in remission for approx 10 yrs. Thks Maggie for reaching heaven for me! When a faithful saint like Sister Maggie prays for you, you know God listens! Thks sweet Maggie for ur prayers, love, hugs, & inspiration. You've truely been a beacon for us. I thk God for His promise of that glad reunion day. We don't have to say goodbye, just we'll see ya a lil later Sister Maggie. I can only imagine the homecoming celebration the host of heaven are having for you. Our prayers are with each of ur dear family. May God wrap them in His comforting arms. ~Bro Steve & Ms Betty Jones
