Bobby Gene Horton, age 81 of Marshall, Arkansas died peacefully at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Sunday, July 30th, 2017. He was born near Marshall, Arkansas on July 21st, 1936 to Doss and Floy (Young) Horton. Bobby was joined in marriage to Hazel Gene Neal on March 15th, 1958. God blessed their union with eight children, and many grandchildren and step-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Bobby left this earth, surrounded by the people he loved most in the world; his children.

Bobby is survived by his seven children, Robert (Regina) Horton of Oxley, Julie (Leo) Rysted of Stockton, MO, Tammy (Steve) Kidder of Lead Hill, Rocky (Sarah) Horton of Bergman, Sandra (Don) Berryhill of Leslie, Michele (Tim) Smiley of Oxley and Annette (Jacob) Adkins of Lead Hill; ten grandchildren, Jodi Jessop of OK, Brittney and Kasey Girod of Leslie, Dallas Boyd of Leslie, Cyrus, Carson, Elizabeth, Clayton and Colby Horton of Bergman and Joshua Adkins of Lead Hill; many step-grandkids, nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Maxine McIntosh and Linda Cook.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Hazel Gene (Neal) Horton; his son, Timothy Andrew Horton; and his parents, Doss and Floy Horton.

Arrangements by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Graveside services for Bobby will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at Canaan Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Jeff Weaver and Bro. Danny Call officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Horton, Rocky Horton, Tim Smiley, Don Berryhill, Jacob Adkins, Steve Kidder and Leo Rysted.

There will be a reception with the family after the services at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Marshall, Arkansas. The Hall will open at 9:00 AM Thursday. Everyone is welcome to come eat, fellowship and remember Bobby's life with his family.

I remember Bobby from 1948-49 when we lived across from grocery,post office n gas sta.when I was 10.
