Bobbie Faye Martin, age 90, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 at Bowman Hospice in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 9th, 1927 to Homer Steen and Faye Ramsey Steen.

Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Arkansas where she made her home in Fayetteville Arkansas.
Bobbie retired from the University of Arkansas Razorback Shop. Razorback athletics were her passion and she loved interacting with the student athletes, coaches and avid Hog fans such as herself at Bud Walton arena. She never missed a broadcasted Razorback football or basketball game. She was loved by many at the U of A. They were her second family. She was a member of Sang Ave Baptist church where she attended until the passing of her husband Leon.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Martin; son, Gary Martin; an infant daughter; and one sister, Betty.

Survivors include one daughter, Shari Rickard; granddaughter, Courtney Parks; and sister, Beth Hightower.

Graveside services for Bobbie will be 12:00 PM Tuesday June 6th, 2017 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bob King officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM preceding the service and will be held at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will follow the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers we are asking for contributions to be made in Bobbie's name to the Pulaski County Humane Society No Kill Shelter 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210.

Shari. So sorry to hear about Bobbie. I remember so many good times at your house and the sewing she made for us. I remember matching outfits she made for us. Orange skirt and plaid vest that we wore to the horse races when we were underage but got in before they could stop us. Loved her and Leon and your entire family. She always had a smile. I pray for God to give your strength in your life without her. I know how close you were.

Will be missed greatly. Always showed that she loved life and her family. Would never have known she was 90. Age didn't slow her down. She was Loved by all. Love you Aunt Bobbie.

We love you Aunt Bobbi. Thank you for all your love and helping get me through my teenage years when Mom died. We're sure going to miss your smile AND your chocolate gravy!!
