Mary Willodean Sanders, age 83 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Dongola, Arkansas on December 26th, 1933 to Jacob Lester Bailey and Nervy E. Yancey Bailey.

Willodean accepted the Lord as her Savior at a very early age. When her health permitted she enjoyed attending Pleasant Grove Community Church. She liked to garden and grow flowers. Willodean was an avid quilter. She was very hospitable and always had the coffee pot on and offered food to all who came through her door. She often made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for her granddaughter and made amazing pies to serve her family. She enjoyed telling humorous stories to her children and grandchildren. Most of all Willodean loved time spent with her family.

Willodean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 64 years, Frankie Sanders who passed away in 2013; two daughters, Shirley Starling and Velma Lee Manning; and one sister Euletta Mowery.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Wayne Sanders and wife Catherine of Marsena and Mary Stewart and husband Zack of Berryville; six grandchildren, George Manning and wife Marie of Harrison, Mackel Manning of Marshall, Renita Jackson (Rich Faulkner) of Clinton, Julie Apple and husband Marty of Mountain View, Tina Partee of Harrison and Hannah Stewart of Berryville; great-grandchildren, Thomas Manning, McKenzie Manning, Angie Cash, Shawn Miller, Jonathan Manning, Santana Robinson, Gregory Robinson, Devan Sanders, Ashton Apple, Aydann Partee and Colton Partee; several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Willodean will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 26th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Shane Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday, May 25th, 2017 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Rooney, Gregory Robinson, Devan Sanders, Zack Stewart, Jonathan Manning and Thomas Manning. Honorary pallbearers will be Afton Bolen, Omage Bolen, Kevin Elliot, McKenzie Manning and Jesse Switzer.

she was a good lady, I remember her and Frankie coming to church to hear grandpa preach. many fond memories over the year's, I know she is at peace now with Frankie, and many others that has passed on. I give my sympathy to the family. I will be praying for the family as they grieve for their loss. and also be praying that God gives them strength in this time of sadness. love the Whitesides family and Mary Jo Griffin.....

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the
words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 "(3) With that I heard
a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God
is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they
will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
(4 ) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and
death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry
nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
