We just got the word. Our condolences are heartfelt. When we met for the first time back in 1993, you opened your home to us. It was a very memorable time sharing our family connection, meeting new relatives, visiting the cemetery, enjoying those Southern meals together. We often talk about that time and wish there weren't so many miles between us. May your memories of Gene fill your hearts with the joy he shared with all of us. Larry & Roseann

Gene and Imogene were the best next-door-neighbors any young family could ever hope to encounter. Gene was in our driveway the day we moved in, carrying boxes and helping in anyway he could. Their loving assistance with our family did not end on the day we moved in but continued nearly everyday until they moved to Houston, breaking our hearts. They were "grandparents' to our kids and all the neighborhood kids, always having treats for any kid who would stop by.
Our love and condolences to all the Love family.
