Elizabeth Morene Ross, age 86 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at Ozark Health in Clinton. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on August 4th, 1929 to Lon McCasland and Isabella (Phillips) McCasland.

Elizabeth attended Marshall Assembly of God Church when her health allowed. She was a great cook and owned The Fish Shanty at the end of the Buffalo River Bridge for a couple of years. She also worked as a cook at The Marshall Restaurant for several years. Some of Elizabeth's favorite foods were fried fish and mashed potatoes. She liked the farm life and enjoyed the time spent on her farm at Silver Hill where she raised chickens and parakeets. Elizabeth loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren (and of course they did no wrong) and she always looked forward to family get-to-gathers. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed quiet time spent at her home. She was an avid reader.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean Elliott of Marshall; step-daughter, Kathryn Crunkleton and husband Dale of Everton; grandchildren, Chris (Dena) Grinder and Misty (Ken) England; step-grandchildren, Tim Crunkleton, Kenny Crunkleton, Denise Kimes, Clay Elliott and Dan Elliott; great-grandchildren, Justin Grinder, Austin Grinder, Koby England, Shayd England, Daken England and Mya England; and step-great grandchildren, Kanyon Kimes, Kitty Kimes, Christianne Crunkleton, Rossalyn Crunkleton, Chet Crunkleton, Cecilia Crunkleton, Zoey Elliott and Kealy Patrick.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Naomi Beavers, Mary Bernice Sisk, Dempsey Preddy and Lucille Gregg; stepson, Bud Ross; and son-in-law, Don Elliott.

Funeral services for Elizabeth will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 22nd, 2016 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Phillip Clark officiating. Special music will be performed by Bro. Louis Sanders. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday, April 21st, 2016 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery near Marshall. Pallbearers will be Ken England, Koby England, Chris Grinder, Justin Grinder, Austin Grinder and Todd Ragland. Honorary pallbearers will be Daken England, Clay Elliott, Gerald Preddy, Joe Preddy, Dale Crunkleton and R.C. Watts.
