Edward Knox Rodgers, age 68 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 at his home. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 1st, 1947 to Frank J. Rodgers and Helen Reva (Studebaker) Rodgers.
Edward was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Arkansas National Guard. He served during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Leslie High School in 1966. Edward was a volunteer firefighter, First Responder and EMT as well as serving as the training officer for the Leslie Fire Department. He was a professional photographer, artist and author. Edward was a Christian.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Rodgers. Survivors include his wife, Toni Reeves of the home; two sons, Eric ( Kisa) Rodgers of Saint Joe and Troy (Rosemarie) Rodgers of Lawton, OK; his mother, Helen Reva Rodgers; sister, Dianna Houle of Brooksville, FL; and seven grandchildren. All services will be private.
