Bobby Franklin McCoy, age 78 of Harriet, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, January 01, 2016 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born in Big Flat, Arkansas on March 18, 1937 to Albert McCoy and Tisha (Treat) McCoy.

Bobby worked as an auto body mechanic for most of his life. He worked hard, raising six sons. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when time allowed. He was an excellent gardener and always put out a large garden and strawberry patch. He enjoyed going to ballgames and watching his children and grandchildren. Bobby was a wonderful husband, dad and granddad.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Verlene (Morrison) McCoy; two grandchildren, Justin McCoy and Aaron Throckmorton; one sister, Obeta Gray; three brothers, George Hugh McCoy, James McCoy and David McCoy; and three infant siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Kathleen (Tilley) McCoy of the home; six sons, Ted (Kathy) McCoy of Flippin, Randel (Leisha) McCoy of Calico Rock, Jeff (Beverly) McCoy, Brad McCoy, Greg McCoy and Danny (Amanda) McCoy, all of Big Flat; two step-sons, Junior (Abigail) Baysinger of Tulsa, OK and Keith (Lanya) Baysinger of Mtn. View; twelve surviving grandchildren, Trampis McCoy, Randel Buck McCoy, Amylena Simmons, Ebony Cox, Lucky McCoy, Amy Switzer, Travis Holliman, Brandy Scott, Libby McCoy, Dustin Sefton, Whitney Johnson and Abby McCoy; 24 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Estellene Schmidt of Kansas; brother, Steve Jack (Donna) McCoy of Big Flat; and a host of other family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Arrangements by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Graveside services for Bobby will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 02, 2016 at Landis Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Joseph Reece officiating. Special music will be performed by John and Nathan Eaton. Pallbearers will be Bobby's sons, Ted, Randel, Jeff, Brad, Greg and Danny McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Morrow, Andy Wilson, Ryan McCoy, Trampis McCoy, Eddie White and Joe Davis.
