Darrell Gene Henry, age 63 of Springdale, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on December 02, 1951 in Marshall, Arkansas to Eugene Henry and Mary Jo (Cotton) Henry.
Darrell was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a logger in the timber industry until his retirement. Darrell liked to spend his time scuba diving, traveling and riding motorcycles with his wife, Peggy by his side. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time outdoors. Darrell had a wonderful sense of humor and more than anything enjoyed people.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Eric Grant Henry and one sister, Carolyn Morrison.
Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Peggy (Wilson) Henry of the home; two daughters, Marlena Myers and husband David of Pottsville and Jennifer White and husband Nathan of Rogers; four grandchildren, Justin Myers, Shaelyn Myers, Aidan White and Abby White; one brother, Calvin Henry and wife Kathy of Houston, TX; and many nieces, nephews and other family who will also mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Darrell will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Brother Luther Branscum officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shane Morrison, Doug Morrison, Adam Henry, Tyrel Henry, Justin Myers and Darin Holliman.
