Howard, Betty Ann and family:

Maudie took her treasures with her by serving the Lord all her life. She will make a great vocalist and guitar player in the Great Choir! I know she will be missed but she is face to face praising the Lord now.

We love you and are praying for you.

Maudie was a very sweet lady she brought much joy to her friends and family. My most memorable visits at Howard and Maudie 's house, were watching her in the kitchen. She was a wonderful cook and I still remember her strawberry cakes. It was a pleasure to know Maudie and she will be missed. To her husband Howard and family may God's peace be with you during your time of loss.

To all the members of the Howard Horton family and the Mainord family. I am saddened to hear of the passing of your wife, mother and sister, Maudie Mainord Horton. I always considered her to be such a fine person when I was a kid growing up just down the hill from where her parents lived. I also think of the many times I heard her sing with her family. She was a great singer. I am quite sure she is lending a voice with others who have passed and have gone on to a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of sorrow!
