My memories of Lee Roy, Clyde, and Patsy go back to early childhood, when my family lived across the street from the old Methodist Church. I was not old enough to go to school yet, and both of my parents taught in Cotter High School. Doris took care of me, and Clyde and Lee Roy were my best friends. How I loved the Anglins! And I loved Doris’s spaghetti and meatballs! I wish I could have seen Lee Roy again, but I will always have sweet memories of him.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

Dearest Family, There are not enough words to yo express my hearfilled love foruou all. I know that we were so blessed to have Uncle Lee as our, brother, father, friend and Uncle. We all have our special cherish memories of Uncle Lee. I have so many from childhood that I hold dear to my heart and will always cherish. You made the best Fried eggs in butter, I would watch you almost impatiently while you would cook them. No one can make a fried egg like Uncle Lee! You made me feel like the richest, luckiest little girl every summer when you saved your pennies all year and would give them to me, I would sit under Mawaws and Papaws carport and be in awe with those priceless pennies. I still can see you driving, stearing your car not with your hands but with you knee! You and Uncle Clyde playing
cards, as I watched drinking koolaid out of a Miller Pony bottle! Cause you embraced me for the little tomboy I was. I have so many memories that are forever engrained in my heart. You forever, left an imprint on my life. You with Uncle Clyde, Mamaw, Papaw,
Aunt Sandy, Mom and Dad, Phillip all had a part in shaping me into the Women I am today. You all taught me the precious value of life and family. I thank you all for that. My dearest cousins Rhonda and Doris. My heart aches for your loss of the very special man that was blessed to be your father and you his daughters. I’m sad, I’m sad for us all, but I also glorify in the love he gave us all. Embrace, your cherished and special memories for each one of us has them to behold in our lives forever. Thank you all for what you have given me... May sweet Angels wrap there beautiful wings around you bringing you comfort and love.

Lee Roy Rest In Peace! Patsy, Clyde, Phillip and Anglin family please accept our condolences.

As you celebrate his life we will remember our happy days while growing up with him. He and I entered our first grade in Miss Gist's class and finished high school upstairs in the same building. Then we set off to Wichita State University together. He was a happy guy with a sense of humor and was abound with lots of common sense. I was always honored to have him as a friend. Careers separated us in life, however, it was always a pleasure when we reached out to each other. We will miss him!!
