Mary Lee McFarland, 84, of Clarkridge, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Clarkridge. Mary was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 7th, 1933 to George and Nora Ann (Standage) Maddox.
Mary has been a member of the Clarkridge Church of Christ ever since she was a teenager. Mary had many hobbies that she enjoyed one of her favorites was painting. She loved to hunt, fish, quilt, crochet, and help out children and anyone that she could.
Mary is survived by her husband, of 64 years, Ray McFarland, six sons: John McFarland of Pullman Michigan, Jack McFarland of Clarkridge, Jim McFarland of Clarkridge, Willie McFarland of Clarkridge, Ben McFarland of Clarkridge, and Roger McFarland of Clarkridge, one daughter Larie Gruber of Clarkridge, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and one grandchild Jacob Dale McFarland.
A visitation will be held from 2-6 P.M. on Monday, January 8th at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9th at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Camp officiating. Interment will be at Thacker Cemetery in Clarkridge. There will be a potluck held at the Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Department after the graveside. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or St. Judes cancer research fund.
