Mr. Edward South, 80, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St.Bernards Regional Medical Center. Mr. South was born June 14, 1937, in Trumann, to Claude Marion and Maudie L. Ross South.
Mr. South was in the Army and a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ, worked in tool and die and was owner of Ace Tool and Manufacturing. Ed loved fishing, his wife and spending time with his family.
Preceding him in death were his parents and wife Geraline Higgins South. They were married 55 years.
Surviving is his son, Dr. Ron (Kelly) South; and grandchildren, Olivia, Lexie and Peyton.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00pm. Pallbearers will be Jeff Jenness, Gary Higgins, Kirk Porter, Mark Jones and Gary Thompson. Honorary bearers are, Andrew Serpico, Josephine Watson and Dr. Corey Diamond.

Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
