Mary Jo Pierson, 69, of Brookland entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her home. Born September 27, 1948 to Joseph and Mary Ellen Mercier in Iron Mountain, Michigan, she was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed growing flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Stanislawski; three sons, Todd (Janet) Pierson, Jerry (Mary Beth) Stanislawski, and Chris Pierson; two daughters, Fatima (Kalid) Alshangiti and Shannon Pierson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
