Ruth Wanell (Williams) Walls,90, was born August 10, 1927 to the late Major and Ovnie (Jones) Williams in Scotland, Arkansas and passed from this life January 17, 2018 in Searcy, Arkansas. She graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA) with Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Education degrees. Ruth was a school teacher in Conway, Faulkner, Perry and Van Buren County school districts. She attended the Scotland Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Troy Walls, one brother, Billy Ray Williams and one sister, Ruby Williams.

Left to cherish her memory are one son, Troy C. Walls (Angela) of Conway, Arkansas, three daughters, Linda Marshall of Searcy, Arkansas, Marilyn Martin (Bobby) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Bobbye Kraynik of Fayetteville, Arkansas, eight grandchildren; Kaitlyn Walls of Addison, Texas, Jaclyn Walls of Conway, Arkansas, Christopher Marshall (Ashley) of Searcy, Arkansas, Lauren Guss (Britton) of Flower Mound, Texas, Blake Martin (Mischa) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Scott Martin (Megan) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Kelsey Boote (Dallas) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jordan Mays (Travis) of Conway, Arkansas, six great grandchildren, one sister Katherine Daves of Little Rock, Arkansas and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Scotland Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church with Brother David Jones and Brother Charles Deckelman officiating.

I was so very sorry to hear of the death of Ms Ruth. She was a lovely woman. I have always remembered my 6th grade teacher as one of the best and kindest.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Walls. She was my first teacher at Clinton, (4th grade) and also one of my favorite! She was a very kind and loving teacher. You’re all in my prayers. May she Rest In Peace.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
