Patsy Alene Smith, 70, of Batesville, Arkansas died Thursday, September 28, 2017, in Searcy.

Born August 17, 1947, she was the daughter of Leonard Scott Beshires and Alice Josephine (Perkins) Beshires.

She is survived by a son, James Smith of Batesville; brothers, Scott Beshires and Leonard Ray Beshires of Brownsville, Tennessee, Sammy Beshires and Tony Beshires of Jackson, Tennessee; and sister, Barbara Freeman of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Smith; son, Kenneth Smith; daughter, Patricia Ludwig; and sister, Joyce Charlene Jackson.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at McAdams Cemetery in Poughkeepsie under the direction of Roller-Crouch McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

I am so sorry to hear of Patsy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the s
