WW2 Veteran, Lee O. Simon, passed away Oct 4th 2016 at the ripe old age of 96 years. He had a full life with his wife of 66 years, who preceded him in death, and his two daughters, Gloria and Geri. Gloria Jean has survived him, but Geri passed away in 1994 after a long bout with cancer. Geri had 3 children, who now have 7 children of their own, and Gloria had 4 children, who have 4 children of their own. Lee Simon is blessed to be survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren so far.

Lee will be remembered as a caring father and grandfather who gave the great gift of time with his children and grandchildren. Always busy with his career as a firefighter chief, vocational-technical instructor and heating and air repairman, he still always found time to fish with his grandkids and play ball in the back yard. All his progeny look forward to seeing him again in Heaven where he waits with his wife, Marjorie and 2nd daughter Geri.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
