Ralph Wayne Jones, age 89, of Little Rock died Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was born October 12, 1928 to Homer and Monnie Jones near Batesville, Arkansas. Ralph married Faye Robison in 1948 and together they raised three daughters. They had been married over forty-two years when Faye passed away in 1991. Ralph married Betty Jo Wilhite Thomas of Benton, and they shared twenty-five wonderful years of marriage prior to his death.

Ralph was a member of Second Baptist Church for over fifty years, was a member of the Heritage Club, and served as a Deacon. He retired from Arkansas Power & Light Co., now Entergy Corp., after forty years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean military campaign.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather John Jones, his brother Neil Jones, and his wife Faye Robison Jones. He is survived by his wife Betty Jo, his daughters Deborah Johnson (husband Irving) of Castle Rock, CO, Jill Holland (husband Travis) of Castle Rock, CO, Anita Leishman of Everett, WA, son Jeffery Thomas of Benton, AR, and daughter Jodi Kiernan (husband Michael) of Little Rock.

He is also survived by grandchildren Coy Austin Theobalt, Morgan Theobalt Williams (husband Seth), Tyler Holland (wife Elizabeth), Bryce Holland (wife Julia), Megan Leishman Kemp (husband Joe), Cole Leishman, Tiffany Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Katie Kiernan, Hannah Johnson, and great-grandchildren Grace & Caleb Williams, Warner & Aston Holland, and Cooper Wayne Holland.

Funeral arrangements will be by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 222 E. 8th Street in Little Rock conducted by Dr. Preston Clegg. (Visitation 11:30-12:30.) Following the service, a private family graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery.
