December 28, 1942 - November 28, 2017

Jimmy Randle Wilmoth inherited the Place Prepared for Him on November 28, 2017.
He was born in Bauxite, Arkansas, a place he loved and cherished until the end. He was active on the Board of Bauxite Historical Association and Museum having served as the Chairman of Building and Grounds for many years there. He loved the Old Bauxite Reunions and started the Old Movie Night prior to the Reunions, as a way to give back to the community and remember movies shown at the Bauxite Theater.

He was born to the late A.C. and Elaine Reynolds Wilmoth in the Bauxite Hospital on December 28, 1942. A graduate of Bauxite High School and Pines Vo-Tech School, he was employed at ACI/Coorstek for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane Burns Wilmoth, whom he always lovingly referred to as ''Janie,'' his son Jon of Portland, Oregon, and a brother Shorty Wilmoth (DeAnne) of Georgia. Also loved and cherished were cousins Rowan Tipton (Gail) of Tennessee, Dr. Bruce Saunders of Ohio, the late Dr. Joe Saunders of Louisiana, Beverley Mitchell of California, Marjie Coleman (Danny) of Arkansas, and Stephanie Marshall of Indiana, an aunt, Lois Tipton, AR., his special nieces, Lori, Amy, Cindy, and Molly and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was a member of Antioch Christian Church of Tull, Arkansas.

Shorty and the entire Wilmoth Family:

I am so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was always so much fun to be around and, just like his entire family, he had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh. I just wanted all of you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Much love.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW

We have been Blessed thru the years by Randle and Janie. He and my youngest brother, Lee Roy Parson, shared many special times together. Often wondered if his visits to our farm instilled his interest in having and showing "Mule Teams" which he and Janie so proudly enjoyed.
