Mr. White & George have been our next-door neighbors for the 14 years we have lived by Lake Conway. Mr. White was a hard worker & kept his garden every year, pushing a hand plow when he must have been in his late 80s. He was always bringing us tomatoes or green beans or squash. He chopped wood by hand & once scared me to death when I saw him standing on the roof of his house. When I asked what he was doing, he said he was checking the stove pipe to be sure it didn't have any soot build-up. No thanks, didn't need any help. Again, he must have been in his late 80s. I only hope that Walter & I can be half as strong (& strong-willed) as Mr. White when we reach his age. We will miss him terribly; but are so glad George will be staying close by.

Tommy, we are thinking about you and all the family. Our prayers are with you at this time. Tommy, Bill is not able to attend the services as he has to stay in bed all the time. May God bless you all.
