Willie "Billie" Irene Crain

of Jonesboro, AR

March 2, 1931 - April 13, 2024

Willie Irene Crain, lovingly known to her family and friends as Billie, passed away April 13, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 93. She lived in Jonesboro and was a homemaker. Billie was born March 2, 1931 in Cash, AR to William Issac and Mary Lou (Wingo) Ball. She loved making porcelain dolls, cooking and taking care of her family, especially her grandkids.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Charles Wesley Crain, SR; sons, Charles and Jimmie Ray Crain; a grandson, Rodney Allen Minton and a granddaughter, Emma Lou Parker.

Survivors include her son, Bill (Debbie) Crain; daughters, Mary Frances (Don) Wilburn, Sharon Eylmann and Joyce (JR) Roberts; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Ball and two sisters, Joan Crain and Martha Burgess.

Chapel services will be 11 am Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service and begin at 10 am.

Jaspher Crain, Bebo Crain, Brandon Crain, Mark Gibson, Brandon Hatley and Jeff Stout will serve as pallbearers. Chris Crain and all of Ms. Billie's grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
