Mable Taliaferro Little (Memommy) went to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with her husband on April 20, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Badgett of Memphis, Tennessee and son, Clyde L. Little Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas. Two granddaughters, Laurie (Tom) Harris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Jessica (Jay) Thompson of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Seven Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Kate, Caroline and Thomas Harris and Trip, Molly and Lauren Thompson as well as one sister, Fern Newsom of Monroe, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Clyde L. Little Sr. and her sisters, Lucy Beckum, Doris Kope, Azalea Little, June Eudy and Patsye Brunson and her brothers, Roy, Jack and Rex Taliaferro.

Mable was born December 5, 1921 in Litroe, Louisiana where she received a firm foundation in hard work, responsibility, education and in the Lord from her parents, Ellie and Gene. She was a lifelong Baptist and tireless worker at Calvary Baptist Church in Rose City. She was an excellent cook and her specialty for the last 40 years has been chocolate pie. She and her late son-in-law, John, loved it, so that became the choice dessert for all.

A stay-at-home mother until she was 50, Mable then became a receptionist at Laing Sale for the next 20 years, however, the job she most enjoyed was as a volunteer on the front desk at North Little Rock Baptist Hospital. She was faithfully at her post once a week until into her 90th year and continued to meet for lunch on a regular basis with the friends she made there.
