Kenneth F. Slach, 65, a resident of Hartman passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Fort Smith.

He was born October 6, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Anthony ''Tony'' Slach and Virginia (Evans) Smith. Kenneth was a dedicated soldier, making a 30 year career of serving his country in the United States Army. During his time in the military, Kenneth served as supply sergeant and in Logistics during a tour in Iraq. Kenneth was a member of the Coal Hill Baptist Church, the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 27 in Russellville, Arkansas and served as mayor of Hartman for a couple years.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Kathleen Slach of Hartman; three daughters, Krystal Albright and husband, Justin of Joplin, Missouri, Sara Slach of Texas and Dawn Campbell of Texas; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Lockridge officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
