Born August 20, 1944, at Arkadelphia, Arkansas, she was the daughter of William Edgar Harvey and Edith Vivian Tobey Harvey. She graduated from Forrest City High School in 1962. She married Roy Neal Kimble on September 7, 1962, and they were married for 33 years.
